Customs, Duties & Taxes (EU Orders)
At AJW LONDON, we are committed to providing a transparent and seamless experience for our European customers.
Shipping to the European Union
We deliver to all 27 EU member states with full end-to-end tracking.
Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Western Europe (France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy): 5–8 working days
- Other EU destinations (such as Greece): up to 13 working days
Please note that delivery times may vary slightly depending on local customs processing.
VAT, Duties & Import Charges
Orders to the European Union are shipped from the United Kingdom.
At present, we do not collect VAT at checkout. As a result, import VAT will be charged by your local customs authority upon delivery. VAT rates vary by country and typically range between 17% and 27%.
Pricing Adjustment for EU Customers
To ensure fair and consistent pricing, all EU orders automatically receive a 20% price reduction at checkout.
This adjustment reflects the removal of UK VAT, meaning that after local VAT is paid on delivery, the total cost remains aligned with our UK pricing.
Example
United Kingdom order:
Product price (including VAT): £54.00
European Union order:
Checkout price (20% reduction applied): £43.20
Import VAT charged on delivery: approximately £10.80
Total: £54.00
This ensures pricing consistency across regions.
Delivery Process
Upon arrival in your country, your local courier or customs authority may contact you to arrange payment of VAT before delivery is completed. This is standard procedure for international shipments.
Looking Ahead
We are currently working towards IOSS registration, which will allow VAT to be collected at checkout and eliminate additional charges upon delivery.
